Salmon Creek Little League

Advanced Teams

Salmon Creek Little League Softball offers multiple levels of advanced play:

All-Stars - This division of play is designed for competitive play at the end of the season. Players are voted onto these teams by their peers and managers based on their skill/ability and eligibility. Participation is not guaranteed, as many players will not be selected to participate even if they choose to be available. These teams train for 2-3 weeks at the conclusion of the regular season, and enter a tournament against similar teams from Clark County. If the team wins, they continue onto the Washington State tournament, and can potentially make it to the Little League World Series.

Club Tournament Teams - This division of play is designed for highly competitive tournament play. These teams are hand-selected, usually invite-only, but tryouts are sometimes utilized to form the team. These highly competitive teams compete in Little League special tournaments or other tournaments. SCLL does not allow these teams to participate in tournaments that interfere with their Rec Team schedules. Rec Teams are priority, and the teams developed under this category pay special attention to NOT schedule tournaments that conflict with their Little League Rec schedules. Most tournaments they participate in are scheduled during Spring Break, Memorial Day Weekend, or after the season has concluded. SCLL has offered teams at the 12u and 10u levels in previous years. This year, we plan to offer a 14u, 12u, 10u, and 8u team.

Here's an example of last year's 12u club team "Nitro". They won the 2016 Paul Wilson Memorial "Spring Swing" tournament in April 2016.
