Upcoming Clinics:

Andrea Bailey HITTING/CATCHING Clinic (Sunday evenings). Andrea has been running group and semi-private hitting/catching clinics at 8th street sports for the past several weeks. For this Sunday (3/19/2017) she has 3 slots open for her 3pm-4pm Hitting Clinic ($10), and 3 slots open for her 4pm-5pm Catching Clinic ($20). All other clinics are full for 3/19. Stay tuned for more opportunities in the coming weeks. Organizations with Multiple Clinics/Offerings

Baseball Dudes. ( Owned and ran by our own Chris Gissell. This is where Eric Jones works. They offer special programs for the younger kids (5-9), and special development programs for those 9+. They run instructional leagues in the Fall as well. Currently offering catching and hitting clinics. Their coaches are also available for private, semi-private, and team lessons. Lumberyard NW. ( The Lumberyard is off Minnehaha and is where we held out tryouts. They offer softball hitting, defense, catching, and pitching clinic. They also have Friday night open clinics. Private, semi-private, or team lessons available. Tunnel rentals available by the half or full hour. Contact Gregg on their website for more information.

Advanced Skills Baseball/Softball. ( This is a new organization off Mill Plain near David Douglas Park. They offer everything from pitching, hitting, defense, throwing, and speed/agility clinics. Check out their website for updated class/clinic start dates and times. They also rent space to teams.


Kim Anthony - (Pitching) (Skyview Head Coach). Kim runs clinics on Sundays. Limited space. She is always available for private or semi-private lessons as well. or (702) 319-1049 if you have questions or want to schedule a lesson. I've found the most affordable way to work with Kim is to go in with another 1 or 2 players and share the hourly cost.

Jeff Alonso @ Advanced Skills Baseball/Softball Academy. Currently running a 6-week clinic starting February 21st. Tuesday nights. $145 / 6 sessions. Available for individual, small group, or large group lessons/clinics throughout the week as well. (360) 334-5958.

Hitting / Defense / Agility

Greg Coulter @ The Lumberyard (Hitting / Defense / Catching) 4212 NE Minnehaha Street. Near 63rd and St. John's road. 360-859-3793. They have softball instructors, Hitting instructors, catching instructors, Friday night open clinics, tunnels for rent by the hour, etc. They can do group 1-hr clinics for reduced rates. Andrea Bailey (Hitting / Catching / Defense). (503) 985-9981. Barlow HS assistant coach. Find her on Facebook at "Training with AB". Runs the hitting league at 8th Street Sports. Andrea has additional resources at her disposal and can point you in the right direction. Private, semi-private, or group (team) clinics. Coaches, Andrea will run a VERY effective team practice for you which might help give you ideas for future practices.

Daniel Blunk @ Edge Athletics (Speed / Strength / Agility). (503) 369-1636. Specialized clinics and training to increase power, bat speed, velocity, strength, agility, flexibility, etc. Individual lessons or clinics. Mini-clinics are usually 4 players at a time (for 1 hour). Teams can block out 2-3 hours and run everyone through. Coaches, consider having your team go through once. If anyone really likes it, they can work out a regular schedule with Daniel.
